Somebody hasn't reported their scores (winning team reports BEFORE Friday night 9pm est) for Week 2 matches. We can't move on until the scores are posted unless I give out a forfeit loss to the teams involved. I do not really want to do that, so pls report your score if you won your match. Due to circumstances beyond our control, TFL will take a league wide bye July 17th, 2008. Rosters will remain open the usual times if you need to make any changes. First match for Season 3 will be July 24th. As usual, Admins will still be in #tfleague if you have anything you need our help with. MD44

Congratz Devastation!! Devastation defeated rs| in the championship round of our end of season tourny. Devastation is TFL's Season two champs. Thanks to Dev and all the clans for a good season. Was fun for me and I hope it was for all of you. League wide (8v) bye July 10th. Matches will continue with prize winning Season 3 on July 17th. Teams must be accepted by TFL before July 16th in order for you to qualify for prizes. So get you apps in now if you are new to TFL! GJ! MD44

Well if I read the brackets right Devastation will face off against Rs| to determine the Champ. Map will be cp_science. If both clans agree to play the updated version, cp_science2, its fine with me. Just let me know before match. K}{R and [FOoM] has decided to take a break from TFL. These two teams have been with TFL for many, many years and both teams will be missed. On Thursday night our end of season tournament will begin. Brackets will be posted asap. Single elimination set-up. Teams not advancing will be scheduled as usual. Maps will be announced weekly. Tournament usually takes 3 - 4 weeks to complete. Good Luck to everyone!! MD44

If you are a team captain for your TFL TF2 team, please read and respond to the post in the TF2 Captains forums titled "Season 3 Maps." We are accepting map suggestions that are fitting for 8v8 play. We will take some of the maps you suggest and add them to the upcoming map list vote in a week or two. Once the poll is up team captains from each team will be able to vote on what maps you would like to play. So get your suggestions in asap. Thanks MD44

To celebrate TFL's 8 years of providing league gaming, we want to give a little something to our teams in recognition of your support for TFL over the years. Season 3 will start @ July 18 or 25th. As usual, we will have an 8v8 league which at this time will be hosted in Division 1a. We are adding a 6v league which will be hosted in Division 3a. Applications for both are now being accepted. Cut off date for sign ups to the 8v and 6v Divisions will be @ July 18th. A definite date will be posted about midway through our tourny play for this season. The following prizes will be awarded in Divisions 1a and 3a: 1st Place: 1a: TF2 server, 18 slot (1a). 3a: TF2 server 14 slot. 2nd Place: 1a and 3a: Hosted web space provided by TFL. 3rd Place: 1a: Vent server, 14 slot. 3a: Vent server, 12 slot. Details concerning each prize will be posted in a few weeks. GL HF! MD44

Sorry for the late schedule but was giving TC the time to get their roster posted. Unfortunately they didn't and Djedi shares a forced bye with TC. Match between these two clans might still be possible if the requirements are met and both teams agree.

RES vs ED. Rd 1 was won by RES. RES failed to play rd 2 due to a shortage of players. The score of rd one doesn't matter since ED was not given the opportunity to play rd2 and possibly stage a comeback. Since rd 2 was not played, we will never know but ED's opportunity to do so was lost with the rd 2 forfeit by RES.

Clans are able to choose the maps that they will play for the next few weeks. Please remember that maps must be chosen from our map list. If you cannot come to an agreement as to the map you will be playing, the default my is 2Fort. Starting with the matches next week, the clans can decide on what map they wish to play. So contact your oppy early and reach an agreement on the map for your match. Good idea to log this agreement :) And as Gem said...'if you can't agree on a map, 2fort is the default map.' Winners of matches reports the scores of matches. Other words if you lost your match, do not report the scores. Leads to confusion and unnecessary foot work. Remember that recording of personal demos and sourcetv demos are required. So do your self and your team a favor and record!! :) Schedule is up! GL! HF! MD44
